One of the best things about travel is trying new foods, especially those unique dishes that define a place and culture. I like to bring home more than just memories, though, so as a home chef I search out recipes that capture the flavors I have discovered in distant places. Now, I'm not claiming that these recipes are 100% authentic, especially the international and ethnic fair. In fact, I often substitute familiar semblances for hard-to-find ingredients. But even without leaving home (except maybe to go to the grocery store!) you will relish sampling the world, one bite at a time!
